"Wee Birgie Paint Alongs"
Having been an artist in some form or other my whole entire life, it is time to share what I have learned or am still learning. At craft and art shows I tend to sit and draw, paint or create pressed flower work while Al spends time the folks that peruse our tables. I find it fulfilling to draw pen and inks at that from the photos we have taken. Later at home I will water color paint them.
Recently I was invited by the Crepe House in Port Dover to do some sort of Art Workshop from the mediums I work in.
It was a hard decision, however after much thought I decided with the help of my hubby Al Ludlow,
" Wee Watercolors" would be a good challenge. On Jan. 28, 2015 I lead a group of 12 enthusiastic ladies to paint with watercolors. Turned into a wonderful fun filled evening.
On Wed. Mar. 18 I lead a group of thirteen enthusiastic participants for 2 hours. This time a "Wee Watercolor and Acrylic" workshop. It was fun.
We look forward to invitations from the Crepe House in port Dover in the future , perhaps on the patio in the warmer weather. It will be fun. Anyone interested please contact the Crepe House on Facebook or me birgitludlow@hotmail.com.
These are fun especially for those who have never painted before.

Thank you Milton Heritage Craft Show Sat. & Sun. Sept 20 & 21
Special THANK YOU to everyone who dropped by our windy tent today. It was a great day for us considering we were first time vendors there. The grids kept the tent in tact however the trivets did blow in the breeze, but never fell. Our tent was anchored securely. Some vendors had their tents launched into the air even with cement blocks holding them down. they were fortunate to be given a spare spot indoors. Few scary moments to contend with. One when a small pencil drawing I was working on blew away never to be seen again, then the card stand was caught by the wind sending it sailing with all my cards flying in the wind. Thank you to everyone who helped retrieve all the blowing items.Down with the card stand for the rest of the show, not worth the angst. Many folks we have seen before at other shows as well as the vendors so it was a treat. Lets see what tomorrow brings? Today was such a lovely day out in the fresh air couldn't get any better. Again Thank You to the organizers (especially Dave), we definitely appreciate all you have done to make us feel welcome at Milton Heritage Craft Show.
